Our commitment
Aalis Management Consulting works with federal agencies every day, and we hold our own website to the same standard we support for them. Our goal is for aalismc.com to conform to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- Build pages with semantic HTML headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate them.
- Provide a “Skip to main content” link and full keyboard access to menus, links, and forms.
- Give meaningful images text alternatives and hide decorative images from assistive technology.
- Label every form field and announce form results to screen readers.
- Respect your device’s reduced-motion setting, and give every background video a pause button.
Known limitations
Some older news images include text that is also written out in the article, and some downloadable PDF documents may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. If you need any content from this site in another format, contact us and we will provide it.
